The service was great. I selected “just okay” because my emails took several days for a return response. Other than that, we are pleased with our refinanced loan.
Horrible communication about why not closing on time. Was unable to get into connect with Kali and/or loan officer after I signed all required documents. Rates dropped and would not reevaluate my loan. The worse communication on refinancing a house. I was treat as just a number no personal connection or care.
My refinance experience was the best! Jason Staples was extremely responsive. I felt like I was his only client. He was friendly, thorough and professional. I would readily recommend PennyMac (and Jason) to anyone refinancing or shopping for a mortgage.
More communication. Emails were not answered. We didn’t really understand what was happening when, or how long it would be until something else happened. But it all went very smoothly otherwise so it was ok, and when we did actually speak to someone our questions were answered.
This was as smooth as any refi could have possibly been!
Aida would not return our calls on multiple occasions and we had to reach out to her supervisor, Kim, who stopped returning our calls. We had 3 different appointment to close that had to be canceled. We could never get an answer as to why the paper work was not sent to the title company or not correct when it was sent. If we wanted updates we had to contact her because she was not contacting us. I felt like she didn't want to take the time to deal with us.
It should be noted, that our experience with Jesse Ramon was phenomenal once he took over the loan process. He was prompt and helpful and always very easy to communicate with. Unfortunately, our experience with Cammorah Washington, prior to meeting Jesse, was terrible. Cammorah was rude, would not return calls, asked for documents that we had already submitted multiple times, claimed that the only day she would communicate with us was on Wednesdays, and refused to communicate any other days.
Rachel was great! Kept us in the loop and was responsive to all our questions. Great customer experience!
Overall, extremely pleased with the Penny Mac team! Everyone was helpful and our refinancing process was seamless!
