My experience with the PennyMac team was effortless. Once I uploaded my documents; which I did in the same day, my entire process was a total of 32 days from application start to closing!!! Wow, what more is left to be said?? That is a great team and partner!!
Sirrena Thompson was amazing. PennyMac should consider giving her a raise and hiring more individuals like her. Everyone else we encountered was the opposite. The first individual we couldn't get ahold of after the first few calls. Then Brittany Barclay took months to get the loan prepared and completely ghosted us for over a week. I understand if she was sick. But then her manager should have taken over. We have never made a late payment, thanks to this experience we have due to Ms. Barclay.
I was told it would take a month and it took more than two. And when asked for a new time frame I just got a blanketed statement about covid. And that just didn't give me the feeling of working closely with any one.
My process was smooth, fast and great, kyle kept me updated throughout the process and was very detailed.
No return calls or emails. If I didn’t reach out nothing was communicated. Left in the dark almost the entire process. When I finally do get her on the phone, asking for the same documents I sent before. Never aware of where we left off so I have to start over every time. Can’t leave voicemails because i will never get a call back, have to keep call until i get she picks up. This was the worst experience. This was not a 2 way communication. It was me constantly reaching out. Glad this is over.
