Throughout my process I was constantly struggling to get accurate information (what the loan team was telling me vs what the documents that were sent reflected.) and when closing came the documents STILL did not match. The loan/services rendered were not explained in detail.

I think Blen Alemu when she took over my file it really started moving and she even though didn’t have total control fought hard to get answers to my questions . The process should have lasted 60 days at max but it went to 91 days including the day I signed the closing documents. The underwriting department did a poor job moving the loans to closing, this needs to get better.

All communications were good. But at times I could not reach anyone to answer my questions. The Notary that I met with was late 3 hours . Overall the process was easy and smooth. Thank you.

Everything went smoothly until the closing. A date and time was scheduled but the date came and went with nothing happening with no indication as to why.. I called and left messages but it took several days to get a call back. They apologized and set another date for the closing. An attorney called about an hour after the set time which was the only indication I had that the closing was going to take place. There were no emails or calls from PennyMac confirming the closing time and date.
