Great expectations
What made it great during the process there were not extra documents I have to provide, loan processor was very professional, good attitude and was quick to respond to whatever questions I needed answered, my Loan was processed in a very timely manner. I would recommend PennyMac to friends and family.
Timely, efficient and friendly.
The loan funded considerably later than expected and our lock expired, although PennyMac did cover the cost of the new lock. Documentation was requested multiple times and the notary had to come to the house twice to get us to sign paperwork. Even then, a document was missed and we had to sign and send it via email. This gave us the impression that things weren't organized. The people we worked with were great, so the lower rating came from the perceived lack of process and delays.
Overall went smooth and everyone was helpful in explaining process and quick to fix any mistakes

Molly was very helpful with every aspect of the loan process. She was able to walk me through every part of the technical components and explained everything thoroughly. All my questions were always answered promptly and to my full understanding.
