Our scheduled closing date came and went. We were scheduled to close on August 6th at 4pm. My wife and I were at the house waiting for someone to arrive, but instead received a phone call that the paperwork had not been received. No call from Pennymac until the next morning. The closing was rescheduled for Tuesday the eleventh at 4pm. The night before at 4ish, we received an email stating that we were in need of contacting our employment to re-verify our employment.

We could not get ahold of the right people when we needed to, and could not get straight answers often times when needed to plan accordingly. Our closing also had to be scheduled 3 times because of miscommunication between pennymac and the title company, which for our schedules was very difficult to accommodate in short notice. Then the amount needed at closing wasn’t accurate which made the matter even more frustrating. It simply didn’t go the way we hoped which was disappointing.
