I had a great experience with PennyMac in refinancing my home. Communication was excellent and the process went smoothly. I am extremely excited to have reduced my monthly house payment and will recuperate my loan costs in less than a year. Quick, easy, painless. When we had questions they were answered almost immediately.
After filling out the applicationnonljnr, having you Call me, putting me on hold to wait for a an hour. If you call me you should be ready, not waste my time waiting for you.
Extremely difficult to get a hold of somebody to talk to. Anytime there was a question or issue, it required multiple days of phone calls before I was able even talk to a person or get answers. Email communication was very redundant. Seemed like staff was not communicating with each other.
It took over 2 months for our loan to close. I was made to feel it was our fault. I was told that the loan took so long because we didn't furnish the information needed. I replied to every request and email, some requests I emailed 4-5 times. This is our 3rd loan with Pennymac- the other 2 closed with no problems or worries. Owen Ekimoto and Sunnie were great. They would get any answers I needed.
We were on a little trip when this was being processed And when we were not able to make it home to sign the closing documents on the scheduled day it was easy to get it changed a couple of days. Thank you
Our process from start to finish were done in a few days. All paperwork needed was communicated on a timely matter.
