I could NEVER contact my team by phone. I was asked to return calls i had missed and could not get through. One day I stayed on line for 48 minutes when finally i was cut off. Other than that, my experience was very good. I know I would have been more pleased had i been able to contact my team and get answers to my questions faster. I had to depend solely on email.

We refinanced our current Penny Mac VA loan with Penny Mac to get the lowest VA rate. All the pre-closing documents were handled by email and a fax very quickly. We received email updates and personal phone calls at least once a week. No surprises. All the documents to be signed were brought to our home. The Notary was very efficient and professional. The new loan closed in less than 3 weeks.

I was scheduled to close a week before I did but was not notified that penny Mac could not find a notary and I left work two days in a row to wait for them to show up. It wasn’t till after I called and sat on hold that I was informed of the issue and had to reschedule my closing

Communication was one of the keys that made This experience more than acceptable. Cheree Payton was great. She answered all my questions and promptly returned all my calls to put my mind at ease if I had any questions. Because of the team work to close my loan , I would greatly refer Penny Mac

Greg Johnston was fantastic. Doing a refinance is stressful and then add the fact we did it online and over the phone and it is very stressful. Greg was polite and professional and answered all of our questions quickly and clearly. Having the closing agent come to the house was also great in light of Covid-19. Even on the day of closing Greg assisted us in getting our cash to close wire transfer completed. Greg was simply GREAT!
