Since I already held my mortgage with PennyMac and you already possessed every piece of personal and financial information necessary for a refinance the quantity of new required documents was absurd. I was initially told that the process was quick and simple. Not true. I would never have agreed to refinance if I knew how many documents I had to produce again. It was as if PennyMac did not know me as a 4 year customer that never missed one payment and in fact paid every payment early.

I had no issue with Emeldo at all. Everyone including the loan officer, Brian Ross, was pleasant and professional to speak with The issues were 1. Brian did not return follow up calls. He only had sent vastly different numbers within documents to sign multiple times - PITI, amount due at closing and taxes. I have no confidence in the numbers.

Loan processor to stay in touch with applicant about closing ensuring that title company has followed through the closing cost is correct and to have at least one final telephone communication with the applicant vs. email notifications.

Fast and easy process with a great rate. Very upfront about what they were able to do, and not do in regards to my needs. Highly recommend PennyMac for VA refinance or new loan.
