The competitiveness
The entire process was amazing. We knew exactly where we stood along the way, and when things got a little slow, they were sure to call us and keep us in the loop. We were never left wondering what was going on. Also, our closing documents were not correct at first. They were quick to locate and fix the issue, which avoided a ton of confusion and headache. We are so glad to be doing business with PennyMac.
Zachary provided great communications and feedback and was on top of the process. It was much faster than I expected. Only hiccup was actually at the closing and what and who had to send paperwork to title company. We both (Notary and I) ended up sending separate documents, but it was all sorted out at the Title company.
At first, they were going to put my husband on the loan but Utah is not a community property state so I had to have him removed. Then, a closer from another state called because whoever set up my closing did not contact a closer in the correct city and state. It was a little bumpy but they pulled it together fabulously by Monday morning.

Better communication with what is happening during the loan process. We felt in the dark. We were scheduled to close 3 different times, each time the closing was cancelled at the last minute. We would have to call/email to try and get answers and would not hear back from anyone for a few days. We finally closed the 4th time but was never fully explained to us why the closing was cancelled so many times. It was a frustrating process and we are happy to have finally closed.
