Communications, communications. Not only could I not communicate with Ms. Howard, neither could PennyMac co-workers. She could never be located. She requested several documents that had all ready been sent, but documents that were not necessary. An employee, identified as "Lisa" finally e-mailed me and advised "not other documents were needed" It wasn't until closing that I was told this transaction was costing $6000.00+. My wife and I have a 800+ credit, we have a substantial history with you
I had to call several times to get any kind of answers, I talked to 6-7 different people along the way who could not tell me much. I had to send my termite inspection 3 times. Poor communication the whole way.
It was quick, efficient and Elizabeth’s assistance was valuable and helpful.
We ended up having to close twice and another time sign more paperwork. Some how all this was lost and unless I had kept calling and emailing we would’ve never known the first closing didn’t go through. I’m not sure how a company loses closing documents.
I was disappointed in the length of time that it took to process my loan..I started the refinance back in march, and didn't close until June. I had to keep following up vs. them reaching out to reassure me things were still being worked on and progressing, just taking a long time. Then when closing came, the closing documents had my last name spelled wrong on some pages, and had me listed as married, which I am not. We had to postpone the closing after all of that waiting.
Ashley was very pleasant to work with and was very quick to return phone calls. I appreciate all of her work during our refinance. I also wanted to mention Michael Tarzian. He is the gentleman who worked with us from the beginning to gather our information, talk us through the process, and helped us determine the best option for our situation. Ashley and Michael both called us after our closing date to ensure that everything went smoothly. Our signing agent was very nice and respectful as well.
