Our experience with PennyMac for our Refi went so smooth, from the time of first call requesting information to the signatures at the end. Everyone we spoke with was knowledgeable and friendly, all the processes were clear, and the online portals were easy to use. Even during these busy times and with COVID-19 issues, we were still able to close on time. I would use PennyMac again in the future and recommend them highly.

The process was easy and hassle free. the team was very personable and caring. the closing was delayed by a few days because my name was misspelled but it still worked out fine. i was a little disappointed with the rate I got because rates dropped more than 25bps while aí was waiting to close and I asked if we could reajuste the rate but there was no response. overall a great process.

Poor communication between notary/closing company and PennyMac Poor communication between notary/closing company and client (me) Poor communication between PennyMac and client on closing date..which change due to multiple signings Failure to tell client what paperwork needed signing the second time around Failure to tell client that the power of attorney had to be a certain way, causing multiple power of attorney's created. Failure to communicate with clients spouse once phone number was shared

Paulette was very open and honest with us. There were no surprises at closing. She kept regular communication with us and was quick with finding out any answers to questions we came up with. overall, it was a pleasant and smooth process.

Carmelita honestly made this experience for me so much better. I kept running into delays that were neither her fault nor my own and regardless of that she figured it out for me in a timely fashion. This woman should be running the company for how hard she works and how much she cares. When other people at PennyMac weren’t meeting their deadlines she pushed to get them to get it done right away. I don’t think I would have taken this all the way without her, to be honest. Give her a raise!!!

I was very pleased with the entire process! My Loan officer and his assistant made it very easy to understand and walked us through the process. They would check up on us weekly even if no documents were needed. They made the process a simple one and I would highly recommend PennyMac.

It was simple and relatively quick process. There was an error in our closing accounting that my wife and I found out the morning of closing, a mysterious $200 credit that had been on the initial estimate and our revised closing document, but disappeared the day of closing. I did get an email a few days later saying my closing had changed, but we found out via the closing attorney.
