Dealing with Norma was fantastic. She was pleasant to deal with and on top of our file. I was less pleased with underwriting. Since our loan is already with Penny Mac, I'm suprised things did not go smoother. They really made it much more difficult due to my being self-employed. I understand that bank statements are needed, but it was over the top. They wanted updated statements and then statements that had my company name (which no one uses, as I am a sole practictioner).

I liked that Penny Mac kept in touch with me through the whole process and how cordial Norma and Edward were through everything. The loan took a little longer to process than I had hoped, (due to how busy they were with today's refinance fervor)but everyone was really great to work with along the way.

The entire process went smoothly and swiftly in spite of all of the issues of dealing the Pandemic. Xavier, did a wonderful and professional job.
