I got a lot of redundant emails and when I was asked for documentation I sent it in right away then was asked for the same documentation again I had to call several times to verify that Penny Mac received it the person I talk to on the phone said they received it but nobody put it in the file

The closing paperwork did not arrive at the title company until 24 hours prior to closing so we had to rush through all of the paperwork and get a cashiers check from the bank.
This was by far the easiest transaction that I have been through for almost anything. Expectations were exceeded along all lines of the transaction. The closing was amazingly fast. The communications and being proactive with information was great. Thanks to all! PennyMac for president.
From start to finish the process was simple and easy! Required documents were asked for very timely and during all the chaos going on my loan went through without a hitch.
Due to current situation our initial closing appointment was canceled at the last minute. We were advised that it was going to be very minimal documentation that need to be signed. It turned out to be like a full closing unlike a refinance. We would have set up a signing station in our garage because it was almost an hour of signing documents.
Please be more selective when hiring and training the processors who serve as a bridge between customers and the underwriters team. The one assigned to me made a number of unacceptable mistakes along the process. I should have asked for a replacement right after I suspected the incompetence.
Taylor Harris did a great job and probably set a high expectation for what the process would be like. There were days/weeks I was calling in 3 to 4 times per day because of the amount of issues. I had to resolve a forbearance confusion which happened at least 5 different times throughout the loan process, there was little follow up from my loan processing specialist and my closing was rescheduled 3 different times with very poor communication. Not a great experience at all.
