Overall communication. I emailed a ton because I could not clearly understand Liem very well, and this information from the appraisers to the loan people were not clearly communicated, so we had to do a lot of digging on our own to find out what the hold up was.
The PennyMac team met our needs! All who we spoke to were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The level of customer service is to be commended as all options were presented and established time lines were met.
The only thing that I think could of made the process much better is if I could of had way to call my loan specialists directly, every time I would try to call her I would always get a different person.
While there were one or 2 areas that we were stressed about, especially with the final approval portion, Sandra and the PennyMac team were able to assist with these issues, mainly with the underwriter for the final approval. Overall, it was an "easy" process, well as easy as any mortgage for a new home is. Thank you Sandra for your assistance and for dealing with our Panic at the end. Yours and the teams' assistance was invaluable.
Phillip Sandstrom, loan officer made my the experience for my family very understandable, this was our first time refi and we were nervous but he was able to calm our nerves and help us my husband and I understand the process and answer our questions very promptly and professionally. a great nice friendly people person guy! that made us feel comfortable and confident in the process. thank you Phillip! you are an asset to Penny Mac and should def promote within!
