Phone menu convoluted and designed to keep customer from reaching a representative. This is by design of Pennymac management to save labor cost to Pennymac and gives poor customer service when trying to reach a representative. Also, menu ask to enter last 4 digits of social security number which I did correctly 4 times and it told me the 4 digits were incorrect when I know they were correct.

I’d give less if I could. DO NOT consider this lender! My family took advantage of their special forbearance program following Hurricane Ian as we were directly impacted in SWFL. At the end of our forbearance period, we agreed to the terms of a repayment program to bring the loan back current. What my assigned representative failed to mention at any point in any of our conversations was that by opting in to the repayment program, I would be reported to the credit bureaus as delinquent and my credit score went from excellent ... read more
