Everyone I talked to was really nice, and made sure I understood everything through the whole process. As a first time home buyer I felt confident I was making the right decisions.
From start to finish this process was unbelievably bad! I was asked for documents more than once, the communication was not good, never got clear responses, asked for documents close to closing time that should have been ask for much earlier in the process, etc. I would be told one thing then my realtor and closing company something different. Documents were requested 3 times even after acknowledgment of receipt the first and second time. I’m thinking they were amateurs. Would NOT recommend.
Communication was an issue. We would get a call Monday with questions, which we would answer. The next day we would get a call from the same person with the same questions. It seemed like small clerical issues delayed our closing date. The portal was nice to upload documents, but when there was a issue that needed our attention, there was no explanation on what was needed
The same documents were asked to be sent many times. At the signing of the closing documents I was asked to submit 2 payment. Of 500 and 1500 dollars and I didn't know where that was coming from and nobody ever mentioned that to me
