Our rep handling the account was curt at times. She wasn’t available when we called several different times. She had trouble articulating exactly what we needed from our Trust to get this handled in a timely manner. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else using PennyMac with this Customer Service rep.

The loan fell through because of communication the first time and almost done the same thing the second time. Somehow everybody does not see all the documentation sent in because I had to send the same thing over and over at least four times.

George did a great job. However the phone system at Penny was awful. Another issue is it was impossible to get ahold of your service representative you would leave messages asked for someone to call you back and it would never happen. Also when you did call back in the information you received was always different every person who answered the phone gave you a different message this way to the loan process very confusing and in some cases I thought that I was being scammed.

It was not clearly communicated to me that I was going to need to show reserves of a certain amount of money. I had to call and ask questions as opposed to getting a phone call to explain why.

Between Lloyd and Nick, the service I received could not have been any better. I did have some hiccups because of the restructured website and an automatic application for CARES act which I didn't intend to apply for at the time, I was only trying to research the subject. Because of that, the initial loan was declined but Lloyd was able to rectify the issue with minimal effort on my part. Nick took over the process with a very friendly attitude and threw my application in the fast lane to close!
