The application process went smoothly. When I did have a question I was able to contact someone easily and get an answer. I am very glad I went with PennyMac for my refinance.

Our representative Brittany Claypool was very courteous, informative, prompt, and helpful. She helped us to put our family in a better place financially, amidst a huge pandemic. We appreciate her hard work and dedication to meeting our timeline.
Loan processor and team was great, however underwriting mandated that my loan be processed as non owner occupied even though I do occupy my home. So we had to have the loan reworked which cost me more money at closing.
My closing date was pushed back because of a mistake.. someone on your end was saying I had a hole in one of the bedrooms ceilings that’s needed to be fixed.. the home is only a few years old as it was built in 2016.. turned out whoever it was on your end was looking at the wrong paperwork..
If the so called MAC team would have communicated with each other, if the penny MAC team would have communicated with myself rather than me having to call several times and try to find out what was going on. If I didn’t have to sign refinance paperwork 2 times, If penny Mac didn’t call me at least 3 times saying my mortgage was past due, If I didn’t have to spend a lot of my time trying to explain the problems I was having with the Penny Mac process to 5 or 6 different people. Horrible process
