The process was, except for closing, all over the internet. Very easy.

They couldn’t get my info right on my closing documents. I was doing a no cash out loan, yet the first set of closing docs said I was receiving $53k back. I corrected them. Then a few days later they said they fixed it but this time they said I was doing a cash out loan and was getting $2k back. Again, I had to correct them. The third time, they had my loan amount incorrect. Again, I had to correct them. It was a little unsettling that they didn’t seem to know what they were doing with my loan.
From start to ending everyone at PennyMac was extremely helpful and answered all my questions no matter how small or how silly the PennyMac team assigned to my loan got back to me promptly. Memorable members were Ruben Sanchez and Beth Bowen. Thank you all!
The overall experience, unfortunately, is tainted by the interaction with the one individual that was assigned as the primary PoC.
The team made the process smooth and efficient. I did not have to invest a lot of time into the process and that's very valuable to me.

From the start of the refinancing application, the process was explained to us in details of what to expect. We get updates or status of our loan application occasionally. The loan process was smooth and was closed on time as promised. Kudos to the Pennymac team especially to Ms. Elizabeth Estrada for keeping us updated regularly.
