The part w/Ryan Tang was exceptional. He communicated well. After the case was handed down to the next processor that it went downhill. Granted updates were given that it was still "In Process". Took a month 4 refi to get approved. Have done refis b4 that took 24/48 hours only. Then agent 4 the title company came for the closing. So very unpersonable! Complaint has not worked on weekends for a while. Yawned all the time & did not even explain what we were signing. Quite an experience.
The process was informative, quick and easy.
Refinancing wasn’t an issue. That was short and sweet. App done and approved fast. But communication afterwards was horrible. Got multiple calls from multiple people. On callback, no one had a clue why we were called And then we’d immediately receive ANOTHER call. Really?! Notes under Loan obviously weren’t written or reviewed. People were trying to help but clueless to do so.

The refinance of my home was easy and uncomplicated. The PennyMac staff was knowledgeable and professional.
My loan officer increased my loan amount without my approval. After this was called out, I no longer had anyone to directly communicate my needs or questions.
I was not expecting my closing costs to be as high as they were and they were rolled most of it into the new mortgage - without me being advised of such. The mortgage I had was with PennyMac so I regret the whole process. I am not going to recover the savings as soon as expected.
