Overall, it was a great experience! The only problem was whenever a message was left on the phone, the person leaving the message talked so fast that you had to listen to the message 4 or 5 times before you could get the whole message and call back phone numbers!
Transition from Jennifer Brucker as our point of contact to Grace Sparks was unclear and a bit off putting. Request for "proof" of a bank deposit was unclear, i.e. IRS made a deposit and this was clearly identified on the bank statement but it took a 15 minute conversation to get out of it I needed to upload my tax return showing that same dollar amount. I was short of my cash to close, was aware I would be receiving multiple copies of closing disclosures based on preliminary vs. those to reflect any changes ( we did have a... read more
Great communication and explaining of the process. Very sincere and easy to speak with Loan officer.
It would have been better if our application hadn’t have been left to sit untouched for nearly 3 weeks. It also would have been nice if someone at PENNYMAC hadn’t taken it upon themselves to put things in our payoff without consulting us.
The loan officer checked with you often And I did not have to pull all my paperwork myself
