Whenever I spoke with Chaix or any other PennyMac representative, it was always great and she was very helpful. My primary issues were that I was always the one fetching information and having to call to get updates. My closing experience was also mishandled and it delayed closing for a week despite me calling in to pennymac to confirm that everything was all set (because title company was telling me otherwise). There was a lack of communication between team members. I would give someone the information and less than 24 hours later the exact same issue would be called again.

Very straight forward process.
My experience was great.
My agent moved fast and called me occasionally with updates which was good. I prefer that the team calls me rather than me calling and having to be placed on hold. I also wish their was communications between the teams. My refinance was delayed due to my mortgage payment with pennymac was late, and I had to go make calls to inquire on why my automated mortgage payments were canceled. Apparently the pennymac refinance team and the pennymac mortgage team don't communicate with each other therefore I had to go and make the call... read more
