I did not receive timely updates from Francesca. I had to call to get status updates about why multiple appraisals were being ordered. Also, multiple versions of the closing documents were sent to me that didn’t match the agreed upon terms (e.g., no points, lender credit). Francesca neglected to return my emails and phone calls. I’m happy with the rate I received from PennyMac; however, the entire process seemed disorganized. Whoever reviews the closing documents need to pay attention to details.
Zanetta was awesome, documents requested twice was due to my computer not properly loading the document at the right size for legibility.
Chantel was an excellent helper/intermediary for me during my refinance process. She was always professional, yet cheerful and friendly. She made sure all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. She is a great representative of PennyMac.
The loan dragged on. Constant more and more document requests could have been done earlier rather than new requests every week.
The process was well explained and I was updated throughly.

The only negative I have is related to the property evaluation. At one point, I was told PennyMac could not find an appraiser who could do the eval and get the report in timely. Being the largest mortgage outfit in the country, that was very tough to buy. Cindy was very insistent that the closing date would have to be move back quite a bit.
