Have 1 single point of contact handling my loan, not a bunch of people shuffling multiple loans. Every time I called, someone new, who first has to familiarize themselves with all the information in my loan. Worthless and time consuming. Explaining stuff over and over. So many repeats! The responsiveness of Deon Lamothe and Christian Smith was impressive and professional.
We had to contact Penny Mac every step of the process. We as buyers had no idea what was needed of us and when. We were told that we would be told that, but when we were told what was needed it was "right now". We had no time to prepare. We have used other organizations before and we were assigned an agent whom walked us through every step before we even started. Good service. Communication was a little confusing at times with what your supposed to do and some times it was like a hurry up and wait situation. Overall I’ve used PennyMac for years and have never had a problem. I should get a gift basket for being a loyal customer lol.
