We did a VA streamline. We had the initial communication with Jason who was excellent. We got a note from Rhashid. We called her to ask about the Insurance and property tax. They were due to be paid before our closing date. She could not answer the questions. We got may 3 more emails asking about the title. We initiated one other call to inquire about closing date. Then we were texted from the closing agent to set time.
It was quick and fast with no problems from start to finish
It was a long processed but once all of the documents were processed by the under writer, then the closing process was smooth. The expectation for a quick process was not expected due to the high volume of loans being process but streamline should of taken days instead of months. Overall, it was a great experience and the representatives were all professional in handling the requirements needed to close smoothly. Highly recommended.
Even though covid 19 had every chance to make things difficult, Pennymac was ready to meet the needs of this customer cheerfully and accurately. God Bless and thanks to all involved.
Ms. Marcia and Mr Abdul were incredibly responsive and helpful. I was able to close in less than three weeks. Could not of had a better experience. Due to Marcia and Abdul, I will highly recommend PennyMac.
Communication - Communication - Communication. Big failure - I had to call repeatedly, it was impossible to get through with your call load. I ask multiple questions and got multiple incorrect answers. I felt like a number instead of a valued customer.
The service was great. The funding was the problem and we had several notices that we owed the August 2020 payment. Then we had a notice that said the old loan was paid off and we needed to pay our own taxes and insurance. These issues were cleared up by a few phone calls. One thing I wish we had was the phone number of the Title company or agent, or they had our phone number or both. During the corona virus 19, it was more difficult to call the Penny Mac since the lines were tied up.
Great experience overall.
Overall, the experience was excellent, except for one thing, and the response to that one thing bothered me. Our closing documents had an inaccurate address on them - the whole packet. And the loan closing agent, instead of just fixing them, thought it was more proper to dismiss the public notary who pointed that out to us. I thought that an absolutely uncalled for reaction.
