Overall the process went smoothly. The person who went through the closing 1st time around lost my documents. I found that to be very unprofessional. Erica was able to get a partial credit for the signing. But it changed my closing date and I was charged interest for that. So the credit didn't benefit me as a consumer. Then the inconvenience of having to schedule another time to sign the closing documents again. I'd recommend not using that law firm again. Especially because I am not the only person this happened to.

The beginning of the process was very organized and I felt like I was kept informed of things going on. I received phone calls to tell me everything was ok and that nothing else was needed from me. However, though I received two phone calls stating that everything was fine and nothing else was needed from me, there was an issue with the appraiser being able to contact me that was not communicated to me for several weeks.
