It was not Pennymac. It was the document company. They lost our check for closing and it had to be cancelled and reissued. It was something that should have never occurred.
The whole process was easy and went smoothly from start to finish. All my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly Overall great experience.
Easy-ish process and complete on time. The only thing I would add is be more specific when tests are needed. I had to make half a dozen phone calls to figure out what a “water test” meant but all in all a good and easy experience.

Lots of confusion regarding the Flood Ins. Took a really long to procees because of asking for documents PennyMac had to pay that Flood Ins. We ended up having to when PennyMac already had the funds in escrow.
The instructions were clear. The numbers were more or less accurate from the beginning so that as the date of closing changed. the numbers changed correspondingly. Your document requests were relvant and limited, which made it easier for me, Importantly, you were always there to answer questions.
