Greg made the process easy and looked into everything we asked him to and always got a quick response back. He was by far the best person to deal wirh throughout the process.

I worked on 2 loans with PennyMac and they were not easy. Quicken was more expensive, but a much easier online system, text messaging with the loan officer, and all in all, a much easier process to follow. I have one loan closed, and The OTHER is being cancelled, even though I signed all the paperwork, paid for the appraisal, and was just waiting on a closing date. No explanation, just a phone call with someone who said it looks like it was "put on hold by accident" and would be reinstated.

My loan specialist was great! She was straightforward, honest, polite, & had wonderful customer service skills. She answered questions I had, followed through when she said she would, & investigated questions that she did not have answers to directly. Tracy is a great asset to this company.

The overall process was lengthy however that is somewhat understandable given the current COVID19 pandemic. However, there were two major issues which directly contributed to the scores I provided via the survey. Specifically, the attempt to collect $499 (cash to close) which was never disclosed and the poor communication and guidance needed to remove my ex-wife from the deed was poor at best.

from start to finish, my loan closed within two weeks. the payment went down from the initial start of the conversation and the closing amount. they exceeded my expectations. I'm very hard to please and I research all the other companies before I decided to continue with Penny mac for my Re-fi. You guys are amazing . Thank you again for a smooth process and being very transparent during the entire process.
