When I first started thinking of refinancing my home PennyMac was not on my list of potential providers. After speaking it over with my wife we decided to see if PennyMac could compete. We worked very closely with Christopher, and then suddenly we got communications from Carmelita’s without warning. It would’ve helped to have a handoff to her. Also, a couple of times I called her and she requested documents for me and I had emailed her the information and she responded “I haven’t gotten them I didn’t check my email yet”. Hi, what would have been better if you would not have ask for the same documentation over and over, not only that but been more accurate concerning the processing department.
Hector was very attentive and patient with all our questions. He returned phone calls and exceeded our expectations.
The original paperwork were incorrect which added weeks to the closing date and required me to pay my lawyer almost $600 in additional fees to complete the refinance process.
