For the most part the process was smooth, there was a miscommunication on the closing costs that ultimately was resolved and was the only issue I had. Otherwise this was a great experience start to finish.

Dealing with John Buchanan was very good. Respects to the fact he gave the truth about every step of the way. And even when the Mac Team was not as proactive in responding to me about correct figures John got on it when I called and resolved it correctly. The only one thing I did not like was that the Mac team had to pull my credit twice and yes it still does pull the credit score down. Yes not much however they really should not have had to pull it a second time due to it was pulled already

Before my refi with Penny Mac would of told everyone to use Penny Mac after this would have to advise them to really think about using Penny Mac. Was advised that I would have Zero out of pocket for closing and in the end cost me over $1400.00.
