Kim Hong and Robert Winkler were fine and great to work with. I know they were likely working from home at least part of the time. What I didn't care for and was confusing was the system to review and approve docs. I sent an email to Kim explaining an issue: Basically it's difficult to find docs at times. Twice i found docs under the the completed tab that I needed to act on. One of those i delayed the process 2 days until i stumbled on the doc. So the system is confusing/not intuitive.
More visibility
Overall I’m pleased. I wasn’t in a hurry fortunately, it took I believe around 3 months. Tabatha was wonderful. Robert probably had the most difficult job because he didn’t have complete control, like with BOA on my line of credit loan. I had a couple late payments because of that and thankfully David, who was very nice and took care of that! My one suggestion would be to have received a weekly note letting me know the status, would have made it perfect! All the best and Merry Christmas!
My wife and I had already started a VA refinance with another company, one which advertises nationally on television. After we discovered that this company had withheld critical rate availability information from us, we contacted PennyMac. Our transaction with PennyMac was fast, friendly and professional, and we got the VA rate we were looking for. We have told family and friends about this transaction, and will not hesitate to recommend PennyMac to all of my fellow Veterans.

We are very pleased with the services from Drew. He kept us informed from start to finish about the process and what we needed to do. We have no issues, except that we would like a copy of the closing documents, and have not been provided that information as of yet. The notary sent to our home was going to email us a copy, but it has been over a week now and we have not heard anything from him. I sent an email to PennyMac yesterday and received a generic response. Hope an answer will come soon.
All communication was cordial, forthcoming, and informational. I also got the impression that the primary people engaged with my loan actually cared about doing a good job and actually cared about me. Thank you.
