The process was the smoothest closing we’ve had. Considering Penny MAC was the pre existing mortgage holder it’s sort of a money grab to have to pay all the title costs & searches,fees,etc on a loan & house just over a year old. That said all the people we dealt with & costs compared with others (Intuit) were 2-3000 less overall,as well as a rate that was a few 10th’s lower.

I refinanced my current VA loan. The process was quick and simple. The loan closed quickly. Nic Batten and The Mac team processing my loan made sure I was informed of the next steps. I am happy with the service and would recommend pennymac.

More interaction when we had questions and faster responses to inquiries. The loan process took over 90 days which was unreasonable and has slowed the plans we had for reinvesting the cash out funds.
