Clearer dates for things to happen. Shorter timeframe. Multiple requests for same info
From the start of the process I was told that my 1st payment would be in October but is due in September. Telling me one thing and doing another doesn’t not sit well with me.

I called another highly advertised mortgage company. The way they answered the phone and spoke made me think it was a computer talking. They were cold, arrogant and they were only interested in asking me questions and getting my social to pull a credit report before answering any of my questions as if they were doing me a favor. PennyMac, OK the other hand, asked questions, answered my questions, and then pulled credit report. They seemed very genuine in an effort to help me get a better rate.
Nathan was incredibly helpful, courteous, and pleasant to talk with about the new loan. He was always prompt to answer questions and thoughtful about my specific needs.
Joseph followed up with us frequently on the status of our loan. He was knowledgeable about the process and was always able to answer our questions.
