My husband was the one who communicated with PennyMac, but I didn’t get any updates from PennyMac at all. I still don’t know when our loan will close and have reached out to the loan officer but haven’t heard back in about a week. I personally wish we went with another company for our refinance.

The refinance process was very easy and the loan agent was very helpful in all aspect of the loan process. Excellent customer service.
Staff that I was working with during the process left. There was weeks without responses to questions I had as a result. Was just unfortunate timing I believe.
1. Took few weeks to get the correct Estimated Closing Cost after many phone calls (Matt) 2. Couldn't get a hold of Matt - phone message and email (Matt) 3. Unprofessional - felt don't care, no clear explanation, unwilling to help, rude and not taking any ownership 4. Incorrect Closing Doc - W-9 and USA Patriot Act Inf Form 5. 10 mins before Notary appointment, Carlton called and cancelled because you needed a copy of our tax return 6. Incorrect Funding instruction was given
