My only suggestion is to make a scale of the loan status as it progresses. I want to know where I am at in the process as it goes along.
Not sure who you’re asking me to report on, but the one person I had most contact with was Thomas Papageorge. Everything with him was great until the end. He was supposed to call to discuss final numbers. Also I had a couple of issues come up after I signed closing docs and I never hear back from him either time. I feel that once he knew the deal was done, he didn’t need to respond. While that may be true, I won’t refer people to him directly. I will still refer people to Penny Mac.
I chose to continue with PennyMac assuming that as a present mortgage meant something. I did a refinance with a broker for a vacation home and purchased my home. The process was smooth, took about a month faster and didn’t require me to spend hours on document responses.
Service was prompt and detailed. The whole process was painless and customer service was excellent. Would recomment PennyMac to anyone looking for a home loan or refinance.
My expectations were high. Zachary Teahan and all the PennyMac people working on my loan exceeded them. I want to thank everyone involved.
Everything went smoothly
Overall experience was exceptionally fast and did not take much time at all. Everyone on the loan team kept me informed throughout the process and all were professional and answered all questions promptly. Highly recommend financing through PennyMac.
My contact would never return my calls or emails. I had to call in multiple times for weeks and wait on hold / be hung up on multiple times a day before I was transferred to a supervisor that actually provided some clarity. This was the most unprofessional experience with any serious transaction that I have ever had. I am shocked at the negligence demonstrated in administering my refinance process. At the end of the day my closing documents were still incorrect, but we just wanted to be done.
