Nick Haggan is a mortgage loan saint. He was awesome from beginning to end. I am very happy.
Overall good experience with just a couple of issues along the way. Although the issues were not critical, they were still a little concerning. First I was told the loan would close in a week. Then a week later I was told that the title team forgot to do the paperwork for subrogation and closing had to be moved for an undetermined period. Thankfully it took about 2 additional weeks. Finally, PennyMac called my employer for employment verification without giving me a chance to warn the employer.
multiple emails from different people, hard to track and find communications due to this. Had to prompt followup to find out what was happening rather than getting live updates. otherwise o.k. would be better to have one single individual to communicate with. Friendly people but process needs improvement
I had a great experience with PennyMac in refinancing my home. Communication was excellent and the process went smoothly. I am extremely excited to have reduced my monthly house payment and will recuperate my loan costs in less than a year. Thank you PennyMac for the easy process and coming to my home for the closing process which took less than 30 minutes to sign all the documents!
Quick, easy, painless. When we had questions they were answered almost immediately.
Extremely difficult to get a hold of somebody to talk to. Anytime there was a question or issue, it required multiple days of phone calls before I was able even talk to a person or get answers. Email communication was very redundant. Seemed like staff was not communicating with each other.
Everything they said would happen, did. Smart people to work with.
It took over 2 months for our loan to close. I was made to feel it was our fault. I was told that the loan took so long because we didn't furnish the information needed. I replied to every request and email, some requests I emailed 4-5 times. This is our 3rd loan with Pennymac- the other 2 closed with no problems or worries. Owen Ekimoto and Sunnie were great. They would get any answers I needed.
I was told my loan rate was locked in, then I found out it wasnt. Friends are getting a 2.25 percent loan based upon the same scores I have. Very disappointed.
