The absolute worst. Staff is careless about missing appointments/ unorganized. A lot of drama talk in front of myself and other customers. All I care about is my dog and all they seem to care about is work gossip. Someone needs to come in here and clean house!

This review is solely on the vet services. The day-camp and boarding staff are amazing. They all love on my dog and know her by name. I purchased the new wellness program 4 months ago and it has been the worst experience. From unauthorized treatment and test, to conducting unnecessary tests, incompetent staff, and no one seems to know what's going on. Was very disappointed at this location and the communication amongst employees. I called and spoke with a nice lady inquiring about changing my current day care to Pet Paradise. She informed me that the daycare is always available and we could drop our pup off anyway this week. My wife and I went this morning to tryout this location and the young man behind the desk said "we are full and can't take accommodate your dog today". After asking for extended play time for my dog and calling the day after dropping off and again making sure he is getting playtime, I learn when picking him up the playtime was not provided. Get my baby boy home to find a large sore that clearly looks like a bite mark on his neck that was not there when I dropped him off. Wonder how that happened? Chose your boarding facilities wisely. My normal 5 star facilities were not available last minute, so I tried pet paradise. NEVER again!!

I am new to jax and need to go out of town, I live close to the university blvd location. I stopped in to check them out and was initially very impressed with facility. I have an 11 year old Old English Sheep. I met staff and decided to bring dog in for grooming and trial day at camp. The groomer Pam came out to meet me. I knew they did not have any idea of breed when they asked what color dog was(all OeS are same color) Now this is important they quoted me a fee of 85-100 to groom, I was fine with this. Sadly, I learned the hard way that if your beloved pet is seriously injured while in the care of Pet Paradise (University Blvd) you have no legal recourse under Florida State Statutes. I boarded my Llaso Apso's - William Curley and Gus - at Pet Paradise in Jacksonville Florida. Their brochure and tour of the facility reassured me that my pets would be well cared for,especially, with a "Live-in caretaker to supervise our guests 24 hours a day ". More like Paradise Lost. Do not take you pet here if you love it. The first time we took our Westie to Pet Paradise we dropped him off at the airport location. We went away for the weekend and left him there to be boarded and to be groomed. We picked him up on Sunday. As we pulled out of the parking lot, we noticed his eye was swollen shut and leaking.
