PLEASE AVOID!!! I went here over the summer - was told everything would be covered by my insurance and got a bill 5 months later for over $300!! Looks like they did not inform me correctly. Also, I got another bill in the mail for $64! I hadn't been to the clinic since my last visit. I called the billing office and they were surprised about the charge as well. They removed it immediately. If I had not called, I'm sure it would have increased, sent to collections, you know the process. The doctor who over billed be was RI... read more
The doctor based decisions to test for strep on other family members (i.e.: if your daughter minute-strep test came back negative I won't test you). Docs don't wash their hands. They use hand sanitizer pump between patients which is a little gross to me. I like the CVS one next door much better.
I came here to be seen but was basically turned away because they were unable to accommodate walk ins and was told I could be seen in the morning. She said one of the other clinics was short staffed or closed or something I did not care about. She directed me to the CVS Minute Clinic next door. Best advice ever. I was seen within 5 minutes by a very nice APRN named Paula. Thorough exam and diagnosis. Now that's immediate care!
I agree with KL . My doctor acted the same way!! Stood with his back against the furthest wall away from me. I told him my symptoms and he listened while looking like he didn't wanna be there listening to me at all. I also paid out of pocket which isn't cheap. So for the doctor to act like that i regret spending my money there when the look on his face seemed like he didn't really care. He wasn't sympathetic at all and at the end when he told me what was wrong he had an attitude with it all. Also i made an appointment to avo... read more
Physicians Immediate Care is a scam, do yourself a favor and stay away. I gave this place a shot because of their convenient location and because I thought I needed antibiotics and didn't want to wait until the next day to book an appointment with my regular doctor. BIG MISTAKE! The doctor at PIC didn't even perform a full physical exam to diagnose me properly. Instead she just agreed with my self diagnosis and gave me a script for antibiotics. To make matters worse my symptoms never went away so I went back after a couple ... read more
My visit was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I went in due to Abdominal pain/ Nausea/ Vomiting. As I waited in the room for Dr. Brian Hughes to see me, I could hear him ask the assistant what was wrong before entering the room she responded abdominal pain and he responded with "UGH" and proceeded to enter the room. From the moment he walked in there was no formal greeting, as he seemed irritated and bothered with having to diagnose me, My visit was about 7 min long and all he did was check my breathing, I proceeded to tell him I... read more
Updating to 2 stars for reaching out to address our poor experience. Leaving the decision to contact them up to my husband. Depending on how it goes - I'm more than willing to give kudos where they are due. Good first step, PIC.
OK... If you have insurance. Just go to the hospital. I know, I know!! I'm usually against wasting hospital resources... But, i've been here three times and I have experienced better in third world counties. I have. Not only is it expensive, they don't have proper treatment for eczema. Which is what I've been in to their office twice for. They only provide pills and scripts. I asked for medications that I've ran out of and I got the wrong one, size or dosage. They run you through the office so quickly that they don't pa... read more
This place was terrible. Doctor Pilch went straight to antibiotics for a sore throat. Thank goodness I didn't take them as it turned out not to be strep. Which she would have known if she would have done a strep test, which she chose not to do. I went in with a very sore throat; inflamed, pus-y tonsils. The doctor's assistant (assuming that's what he was, a short fellow) was short (no pun intended) and then send Dr Pilch in. She was an extremely loud talker who went straight to the antibiotics, without any hesitation. She... read more
