I took my wife here because she was in crucial pain. They showed no empathy, although my wife was almost passing out from chest pain. I asked if they could see her right away because of her pain, and they wouldn't budge . They said people are here with appointments, and you're just a walk in. So people could be dying, and they would stick to their schedule. Horrible. Will never go here again. How could you see that someone is in huge pain and not care at all? We went to the ER and got service.
First off the woman at the front desk was very rude to me. I needed help uploading my documents online she acted like she was too busy to help but she wasn't. Told me my insurance wasn't accepted there when clearly over the phone they said it was. Told me I needed to go somewhere else in a really belittling tone. She basically wanted to embarrass me but I didn't give her the time of day I make more money than some basic secretary. I won't ever step foot in their facilities ever again.
0 stars for front desk/check in staff 4 stars for docs and nurses Front desk staff were cold, slow, unwelcoming, bored, inattentive, mumbling. And I was the only patient in there! I came in, they took my vitals, mumbled something about registering by text, and then I sat. And sat. And sat. Without a single word about what was going on. Were the docs busy? Was I up next? Are they waiting on my registration? Zero communication. My questions to them were met with one word answers, not even looking up from what they were doing.... read more
Worst urgent care experience I've had in chicago. I came in to get antibiotics for strep. They were not working three days later so I called and the receptionist told me I'd have to come in to be re-evaluated. I went in to the clinic and not only was I not seen by a nurse or doctor, I was told to call the clinic the next day if my symptoms still had not improved. So here I am the next day and of course the symptoms have not improved. I call the clinic and am told to come in AGAIN to make sure it really is strep (even though ... read more
Literally took 3 hours for them to see me and I had a broken arm. This is NOT "immediate" care. Worst experience I've ever had at the doctor.
I called to simply inquire about their services and they were short. I could just hear her struggling with all she had to be passable at patient service. Should I apologize for the burden of giving them my business? They're just going to turn away first-time patients with attitudes like that. I wouldn't trust my dollars or care here.
My first visit was terrible. The service was slow, the CNA had a difficult time writing down all my medications. No privacy whatsoever. The doctor looked shabby and ungroomed.
I have been here twice, both times with bad experiences. First, I had a severe infection and the doctor prescribed penicillin. Later, after being hospitalized for this infection, the doctor told me that this treatment might have worked in the 1950s. The second time I left because it was going to be a 3.5 hour wait. Furthermore, the desk staff is always terrible, no matter who it is. I'm not sensitive or anything ing, they're just really rude.
On a Saturday morning, I went to Physicians Immediate Care - Edgewater, I waited almost two hours to be seen, but eventually I was seen and I tested positive for Strep Throat. I went on antibiotics immediately. Four days later, I had no improvement, my throat was still swollen and it was hard to swallow. Wednesday is my only day off, so at 9 AM I called to see if I could get a stronger antibiotic, or if I should come in. I was told Dr. Brian Hughes would call me back. At 12 noon, I still had no call, I called him again. I wa... read more
