The last two times we've come here (my son gets ear infections) we've waited more than 30 minutes and we had appointments. This used to be quicker and easier than his pediatrician. No longer the case.

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback, Carrie. We are sorry about your wait, we do try to get all our patients seen and treated as quickly as possible, but there are times when our patient volumes mean longer waits than we would like.

Front desk person authorized my card for $50 instead of $10 copay, was super rude about it, did not apologize, and was ignorant and incorrect about its removal, claiming that I would never even see it. It's three days later, I still don't have my money back. Avoid like the plague.

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback. Please know we take your concerns seriously and I would like to make sure that your incorrect charge is corrected immediately. Could you please send me an email at patientservices@visitphysicians with your full name, date of your visit, and contact information? Once I have that information, I will contact our billing team to follow-up.

The place is ok. Nothing special. My son needed his throat swabbed for strep. So, they sent in an X-ray tech to do this. Strange. Clearly didn't know what he was doing. Jabbed it in there, made him cough in the guys face. He likely contracted the strep from that. I don't know. That is unprofessional. They then try to talk me into buying the scrip from them for $15. Glad I said no because it was half that at Walgreens. Overall unprofessional and Shady. Very afraid to get the bill. The AP, despite her lack of m... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the medical care provided to your son. We do offer patients the convenience of filling their prescription in-house, most prescriptions cost $15, or we send electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.

I cut my finger badly. I received stitches at this facility, the service was good and pretty timely (not a long wait). The instructions said to come back in for stitch removal in 10 -12 days. (The PA who saw me said two weeks.) I asked about the fact that twelve days is more than the "ten day global patient status" they referred to and I am assured by the receptionist, the same one mentioned below, that it wont be a problem because its "just stitch removal." I leave thinking I'm pretty happy with the service. Until, upon my ... read more

Staff is friendly and physician was great, however whats the point of making an appointment on line when you get there and they consider you a walk in. The last 3 times I have been there, I get on line to reserve a time, then when I show up 15 minutes early like they ask you to do - you still have to wait 30-45 minutes after your reserved time to even get back to a room. They need to hire more physicians if they are this busy. They have signs all around the office that say "Avoid the line, Reserve a time" - DON'T BOTHER... read more

Business response:

I am very sorry for your long wait, Mindy. We do try to get patients that reserved their time seen and treated as close to their allotted time as possible. However, the severity of each patient's sickness or injury differs making some encounters longer than others, pushing back the times for those that scheduled their time. We do appreciate your feedback.

Update time: Waited 3 business days before billing got in contact. Turns out that on top of the other failures, they did not properly enter my billing address and failed to send any bills to the correct address. I received the scanned documents I filled out when I visited and confirmed that I did, in fact, give them the correct address. Billing sent an email containing the requested billing information, but failed to properly attach the file, leaving the .pdf extension off.

Business response:

I'm sorry to hear that you aren't happy with the cost of your visit and I would like to offer some clarification as to how our billing process works. We do offer self-pay pricing to patients that do not have insurance or choose not to use it and pay at the time of service. Please visit our website for our published rates. If you wish to submit through your insurance, we bill your insurance company a rate called "usual and customary." Each insurance company makes its own decisions regarding these rates. The amount that you ar... read more

BILLING ISSUES - BEWARE!! I went in with an upper respiratory infection after reviewing the pricing and making an online reservation. Their "self-pay" price listed upper respiratory infection as a Care Level 1 visit, with a self-pay price of $150. I have health insurance so I figured that they bill insurance companies the same way they bill individuals, and that my share of the bill would be no more than the "self-pay' price. Completely WRONG! I received my bill in the mail and they charged me $267 for the office vis... read more

I want to let everyone know about the billing experience I had at Physician's Immediate Care facility and if at all possible to avoid this place. First off, I have a high deductible insurance plan so I must pay out of pocket until the deductible is met. Since I knew I had to pay for this visit, I called the office in advance to check how much the visit would cost and the front desk girl quoted me "anywhere from $100-$150. I told them the main reason for coming was to get a x-ray of my child's rib to make sure it was not fr... read more
