Staff is friendly and physician was great, however whats the point of making an appointment on line when you get there and they consider you a walk in. The last 3 times I have been there, I get on line to reserve a time, then when I show up 15 minutes early like they ask you to do - you still have to wait 30-45 minutes after your reserved time to even get back to a room. They need to hire more physicians if they are this busy. They have signs all around the office that say "Avoid the line, Reserve a time" - DON'T BOTHER... read more
Business response:
I am very sorry for your long wait, Mindy. We do try to get patients that reserved their time seen and treated as close to their allotted time as possible. However, the severity of each patient's sickness or injury differs making some encounters longer than others, pushing back the times for those that scheduled their time. We do appreciate your feedback.
Update time: Waited 3 business days before billing got in contact. Turns out that on top of the other failures, they did not properly enter my billing address and failed to send any bills to the correct address. I received the scanned documents I filled out when I visited and confirmed that I did, in fact, give them the correct address. Billing sent an email containing the requested billing information, but failed to properly attach the file, leaving the .pdf extension off.

I'm sorry to hear that you aren't happy with the cost of your visit and I would like to offer some clarification as to how our billing process works. We do offer self-pay pricing to patients that do not have insurance or choose not to use it and pay at the time of service. Please visit our website for our published rates. If you wish to submit through your insurance, we bill your insurance company a rate called "usual and customary." Each insurance company makes its own decisions regarding these rates. The amount that you ar... read more
BILLING ISSUES - BEWARE!! I went in with an upper respiratory infection after reviewing the pricing and making an online reservation. Their "self-pay" price listed upper respiratory infection as a Care Level 1 visit, with a self-pay price of $150. I have health insurance so I figured that they bill insurance companies the same way they bill individuals, and that my share of the bill would be no more than the "self-pay' price. Completely WRONG! I received my bill in the mail and they charged me $267 for the office vis... read more
I want to let everyone know about the billing experience I had at Physician's Immediate Care facility and if at all possible to avoid this place. First off, I have a high deductible insurance plan so I must pay out of pocket until the deductible is met. Since I knew I had to pay for this visit, I called the office in advance to check how much the visit would cost and the front desk girl quoted me "anywhere from $100-$150. I told them the main reason for coming was to get a x-ray of my child's rib to make sure it was not fr... read more

Thank you for sharing your experience. The behaviors described do not reflect the quality care and professionalism that is the standard at Physicians Immediate Care. Can we please contact you so we can further investigate your concerns? If that is acceptable, please email me at PatientServices@VisitPhysicians.com with the best number to reach you. Thank you.
This place is terrible. I will never go here again and would encourage anyone else to stay away. Charged for a diagnosis rather than a service, (300 for a broken finger that didn't require being reset, and they later told me was not broken after all, the doctor barely looked at it and then misread the X-ray), then they charged 165 for a flu test and prescription for antibiotics. Like other reviews have mentioned, they don't send bills and then claim you are 90 days overdue (except for the notice from the insurance company ... read more

I'm sorry to hear that you are not happy with your visit to our clinic. We take your complaints seriously and I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about your experience. If you are willing, please email me at patientservices@visitphysicians.com with your contact information and the best time to reach you. Thank you. Megan P. Patient Services
I've been to this location several times, and all was wonderful until the last time. We made an appointment, got a confirmation text to come in, and then waited for 90 minutes, and still didn't get seen. The excuse was that a patient came in who needed stitches, but it seems an urgent care center should plan for urgent situations that inevitably arise.
Business response:
Lauren, we are very sorry for the long wait during your visit to our Bucktown clinic. We do try and see patients as quickly as possible, but sometimes the severity of a patient's injury takes longer than expected and pushes everything back. However, we are always working to improve our wait times, and appreciate your feedback about your visit. ~ Megan P. Patient Services
I had the same experience as Olivia below. I found the doctors to be swift and efficient; the front desk confirmed they accepted my insurance and I paid my co-pay at my office visit. However when I checked my bank statement last week I saw an additional payment to Physicians Immediate Care for $177. In my spam I found an email from 'paymentservices' stating verbatim, "THIS IS NOT A BILL. We have submitted your medical claim(s) to your health insurance company. Your insurance provider has determined that you owe the amount ... read more
Fantastic doctors, incompetent billing department. I went to this office in November and had an issue with my insurance (on their end, not mine), and was ultimately charged $192 for the visit and should not have been. Physicians Immediate Care was informed by my insurance company that the claim was being reprocessed and that they would receive payment but they still went ahead and charged my card. I also received proof of payment from my insurance company in January and am still waiting to reimbursed.
Business response:
Thank you for your feedback, Olivia. Please know we take your concerns very seriously and I would like to make sure that you are reimbursed as soon as possible. If you wouldn't mind, could you please send me an email at patientservices@visitphysicians.com with your full name, date of your visit, and contact information? Once I have that information, I will contact our billing team to follow-up. Sincerely, Megan, Patient Services
I was there with severe back pain and saw Dr. Murauski on 11/09. He gave me the name of a referral and told me that he'd include the name name in my discharge papers. He did not. I called yesterday asking for the name and was told that I'd he'd (the gentleman answering the phone) would call me back with the name, but that didn't happen. I called again today and was told the same thing. When I told her (Allie, apparently) that that is what I was told yesterday, she raised her voice and yelled "I will talk to the doctor a... read more
