My wife and I made an appointment here in the afternoon with enough time before having to head to work. However, despite being there prior to the appointment time, we ended up waiting half an hour past the scheduled time. We entered the room with limited time due to the wait and asked to have the doctor come by soon so that we could be out in time but we just told that there's no guarantee. It was just going to be more waiting. Clearly their scheduling is in need of work. I'd suggest going somewhere else with better systems ... read more

I have had repeated issues with this place -- I call them to find out if they take my medicaid insurance and they say they take some medicaid but aren't sure about others and I should call my insurer to confirm. I confirm that they cover any urgent care or ER and schedule an appointment, only to have them tell me they take NO medicaid when I show up and give them my ins. info. I assume this is one location that is clandestinely refusing to accept medicaid patients. I had the same problem with my child when we tried to get he... read more

I really like the medical staff there. However their billing department is awful, And that's what I'm basing my review on. I went here for a work injury in 2019 and they incorrectly said it wasn't paid and shown up on my credit report. I've been here for personal visits that have all been paid for with my insurance. They denied me treatment this week while I had strep and an ear infection until I gave them a credit card to pay for the balance that has been paid since 2019. I was not allowed to even speak to the billing depar... read more

This is specifically in response to the impossibility of being able to get a COVID test here. I tried to go get a test this morning and was there at 8:15, shortly after they opened at 8am. They had a sign up already saying they were out of covid testing supplies for the day. I asked the nurse out front if they were a testing facility and she said yes, but they have limited supplies and people line up in front of the clinic starting at 5am to get tested. I had tried to call before heading over to confirm availability of te... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your review, Julie. We are experiencing significant demand for COVID-19 testing. It is our goal to serve as many patients as possible, but we have a limited supply of test kits. We are working very hard to increase testing supplies and expand our hours.

Don't even bother coming here for COVID testing. They'll make you wait 3 hours, give you a number, a nurse will ask you about symptoms, you'll be asked to check in online and wait to be called in for the test, you'll wait some more and before you know it you've wasted your whole day there. The kicker is when they tell you they're not able to retest. This is obviously once you've already waited in line outside for 3 hours. I understand waiting in line is part of taking the test, but 3 hours only to be told you'll have to wait... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback, Marlena. I'm sorry to hear that you are not happy with your visit to our clinic. We are working diligently to improve the process. We will be rolling out new safety measures to all of our locations, which should improve wait times. Also, please note that due to limited testing supplies, we can no longer retest patients who have previously tested positive. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I came in because I could not stop vomiting. I had terrible stomach pain that made me double over. I walked in and found that I brought my dental PPO insurance card but not my medical insurance card. I was told they do not have the capability to look up if you are covered. I had to call BCBS while in pain only to find that they wanted me to download an app to prove I was covered. The front desk staff couldn't care if you are about to die on the floor in front of them, only if you have insurance. Only then will the let y... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback, Alexandria. Typically we offer our patients that do not have proof of insurance the option to self-pay and bring in your insurance card later that day, or the next day, at which time we can process through your insurance and credit the self-pay amount. I am sorry if that was not offered to you. I have sent your comments to our clinic manager to review with her team. I hope you are feeling better.

Don't bother coming here if you suspect you have the flu. I came in here last week with the classic symptoms: muscle aches and chills came on hard and fast, fever spiked to 101 from normal quickly, headache, cough, the works. Came here the following day and did the nose swab and it came back negative. I said this has happened before but I was still prescribed tamiflu because I had classic symptoms. The doctor said their test is 99.7% accurate and I don't have the flu. The CDC says the nose swab test is 50% to 70% accurate. ... read more

I came in for a test and they accidentally threw out my sample. Told me to come back in four hours and do it again. They didn't even refund any fees.

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback. I'm very sorry to hear about your experience and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about what occurred. If you wouldn't mind, could you please email me at patientservices@visitphysicians.com with your contact information?

I checked in over an hour and 15 minutes ago. I'm sitting in a cold exam room. I'm not sure why it's taking so long but I was the only person in the waiting room. Oh - it's Sunday and very quiet. No one has checked on me. I will not be back.

Business response:

I am sorry to hear about your long wait, Tasha. We try to see patients as quickly as possible, but sometimes the severity of a patient's illness or injury can push back the waiting time for others. Thank you for letting us know, I have sent your review to our clinic manager for her review.
