It was difficult to decide whether to leave a poor review or to file a complaint. We spent over $80,000 on this system and we cannot get it through inspection with our local community engineering inspector. I could go into detail regarding the deficiencies in the installation but more frustrating has been the response by the company. I agree with the comments concerning the installation crews. They worked together better than any group i’ve seen. My problem with the company started within the first year when it was noted that the ceiling in kitchen and bedroom showed I had leaks. It took forever but I finally sent them pictures, personnel came and tried to find leaks and that was the extent of their help. I received this request to review Power Home Solar literally minutes after the install of the panels (which won't be active for weeks) to rate the company, and that is the reason for two stars. A more reliable review should be done one year after installation to see if it's performing as sold. All I can rate at this time is the install of 18 panels and the accompanying electrical work. Not satisfied on the system that was installed. Customer service said we are using more power then the panels can make. However going back a checking our usages before , if feel we are not. Feel the system was not design for what we wanted it to do.
PowerHome Solar is not recommended. I signed a contract for solar panels back last year, no panels have been installed to date! Of course I still get collection calls for payments for panels I do not have. This company misled us as to what to expect from rebates to installation timelines. Do Not Recommend dealing with this company. I called customer service only to be transferred to scheduling transferred and transferred.

Find another solar company! Where to begin. Contract signed 9/24/19. After various problems, install scheduled for 11/21/19. It was to be a two day install. After two days, crew left property damaged with holes in the yard and the cable trenches open. Said they couldn't finish the job due to a design error. So far, I give POWERHOME SOLAR LLC a big fat ZERO. They installed my panels 2 weeks ago and left my yard a disaster. I was assured by the crew that PowerHome Solar would be out to take care of the mess left behind. I've submitted pictures to the salesperson, I've left messages and emails asking when this would happen, and not a single phone call or email has been returned. How this company stays in business or has this rating is beyond me. Will update this review if things get any better (or worse).

Where do I begin, from the no-show appointments from installation crews 12 months ago, to the never ending customer service phone calls for help, to the technicality issues between meter communication, to the mis-wiring that caused our AC unit to stop in May while we were out to town, to now 12 months in....only producing about 20% of our overall electricity. This has been the worst experience of our lives. Do not agree to sign up with this company
