Was there over 3 hours
Went in early and we were fortunate to get in early! Front 2 women at check in was really sweet. The woman sitting on her own facing the wall was extremely rude to every patient. She was African American and I wanted to tell the doctor but didn't want to look racist. She should NOT be dealing with the public, especially those having to go to the doctor! Waited 50 min in waiting room. I mentioned to nurse. Said they were short staffed! While I was in room, could hear staff talking about lunch in hallway. I guess my time has no value?
Patricia Scott I was in a panic. I googled skin conditions that I was having....don't do that. One site told me I'd be dead in 5 months...yes, that was something to panic over. I went to 3 Dermatology offices expressed my fears, told them i didn't need a 2 hour appt, just a consultation could put me at ease. First appt available, October. 6 month body check. One area biopsied.
There for injection training. Dr prescribed the wrong type of injection (syringe instead of auto injector) even though the practice only uses auto injectors for that type of medication. 2 nurses had to figure out how to inject with a syringe since they had never administered before. Poor communication prior to this appointment as well. 5+ stars to the fantastic receptionists!
Very unhappy
On time for appointment. Waited 1 1/2 hours to see a PA. I wanted to see a Physician . Ben became unfriendly when I quizzed him about the wait time. I am a Nurse, if I wanted to see a Nurse, I would have seen myself. I feel I needed A doctor for a more problematic answer to my diagnosis.
I arrived for a 9:30 appointment at 9:20. I was checked in at 9:40 and escorted to the examination room at 10:00. Doctor arrived at 10:20. I left the examination room at 10:29. This wasn't the first time this happened. How far behind schedule would an afternoon appointment be?
