We've been struggling to find a vet for my 2 dogs since our last Vet retired. Came here and had a great experience...! I loved how Dr. Michelle Moeller explained everything very throughly. Elizabeth and Kim were amazing as well and very helpful. I really appreciated the help. We're happy to say this will be our new home for our beloved dogs.

We have been bringing our pets to see Dr. Dastrup and Dr. Benton since 1987. Through the years, PDAAH has cared for our two cats, four Airedale Terriers, one Irish Terrier, and now our Standard Poodle puppy who is a new patient of Dr. Mueller. Our confidence in this office and the entire staff speak to the longevity of our relationship. We look forward to many more years of love and care from this highly regarded team of professionals.

I did a lot of research and inquiry about finding a good fit for Bert the dog. Beginning with the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) site, I ended up finding Plaza Del Amo. This was Bert's first wellness visit since we adopted him several months ago. From the very first phone call, Elizabeth was so helpful, friendly and professional. Service & Communication. We rescued an abandoned kitty scheduled a visit with the veterinarian to check her out. She had a chip we asked about owner & kitty name. Very secretive nurse left room for an hour. Manager Returned to tell us they contacted the owner and she want kitty back. No problem. But the manner handled was very unprofessional. I was taking my dog here since he was young and healthy, but when he turned 7 he started having issues that I would bring up to Dr. Holder. She kept telling us it was a simple fix, just to change his diet. For almost 2 years she kept telling us this at his appointments as his issue kept getting worse and worse. Only when it became an emergency is when she diagnosed a small part of the problem, but missed a bigger diagnosis. I took my dog here for many years and my mom did too. I decided to take my new dog elsewhere as this place has gone downhill on customer service and consistently. Also, they upsell pretty blatantly. One lady who works in the front is downright rude. My mom has stayed loyal because we had such a wonderful experience here for so many years, but even she is now ready to move on and is finding a new vet. The hospital has done good work for us in the past, but we had an experience that absolutely ruined it for us. In summary, they have terrible customer service and zero price transparency. I took my dog in to address a skin infection. We were given some shampoo and allergy shot, charged for that + exam fee. We were asked to return a couple weeks later for a recheck, and we were charged $68 for the doctor to brush her hands against my dog's fur and say "looks good anything else?" Most vets are good. Dr. Laura Alexander and Dr.Jill child are trying to take good care of sick pets. I appreciate you guys... Dr.R is a disappointing because she said she's not x-ray expert to see but she said it seems normal so no worries. If she sees wrong or right , regardless of that, if she recommends to take ultrasound, it would be time-saving and we should not go urgent to go two more hospitals. Absolutely appalled by the service here - avoid at all costs!!! So I called around 10 different vets to get estimates for dental for my dog. I got estimates first because of course don't want to pay multiple office visit charges. I was estimated $600-1200 here which I found reasonable so I made the office visit appt. An estimate of 600-1200 as you imagine would be starting 600 and up to 1200, but when I went in they wanted me to pay $450 that day plus 1,700-2,400 for dental!!
