Our three year old lab Lulla Belle needed to have four teeth removed because of neglect by a previous owner. With this in mind we entrusted our puppy to Dr. Scharg and his staff who treated our girl with unparallel expertise and compassion. Not only were the folks at Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital extraordinary at their job, but their customer service was superb (I was thirty minutes late to pick up our dog), and the bill was both reasonable and transparent. An incredible vet staffed by incredible people.

I have been coming here since I rescued my first dog 8 years ago. She needed emergency surgery to repair one of those botched shelter spay-jobs closed with super glue. I got her in and they whent right to work. She came out clean and closed up beautifully and recovered quickly. I love the entire saff ! Excellent friendly staff. They remember both my pet and my name. The vet went above and beyond helping my 8 year old golden. Unfortunately I had to move so I can't bring my dog there anymore.

First time bringing in both my dogs here, one for a round of puppy shots, the other for updates. With both examined, ears (and wrinkles!) the total was $166, pretty great price for the awesome service my dogs received! The staff here are absolutely amazing! Super friendly and don't talk to you like an idiot about your pets.

Staff turnover within the last 4 years almost entirely, but not a bad thing. Dr Scharg continues to strive for excellence in providing top notch care for both pets and clients. I would not go elsewhere.

I love this vet. I have gone here since I got my dogs almost 5 years ago and they have been nothing but professional. Danielle and the other women at the front desk could not be nicer and are always so welcoming. I use Dr. Sharg and he has always given me good advice from regular issues like a stomach bug to chronic issues like my dogs pollen allergies. The service here is top notch, but the prices seem on the high end as well. Not outrageously high, but this isn't a cheap place to go. If you are on a budget, this is not a bargain vet. However, the quality service they provide is worth the extra money to me. I have been going to this vet for nearly 20 years and have never had any incident with any of my pets receiving substandard care and have never had any issue to cause me to be unhappy with them. I would absolutely recommend this vet hospital.

Our pets have been going to this vet for 20 years. We've always had great personal service with both our first dog and now our 2nd dog King. King just had an emergency situation that was handled with concern and thoughtfulness. I'm happy to say that because of the service we got with King recently he's still here with us. Thank you to Dr. Scharg and the friendly, caring staff at PVH.
