We had an emergency with our dog and I frantically called. Beth answered and said calmly "Do you know where we are located?" I replied yes and she siad "Bring your dog in, and drive carefully." When I arrived, they were waiting and whisked our pup to the back and got right on the emergency asap. Dr. E came out to ask me some questions and give me an update. I have seen several doctors at this veterinary hospital. All seem very well trained in their field and knowledgeable about animals. They go above and beyond to help you and your pet in any way possible. I couldn't be any happier.

After my dog hadn't been eating or drinking for a few days and wasn't acting right I brought her into Ironhorse ER. They were so awesome and turns out she had a infection in her uterus that was very toxic so she started on some antibiotics right away! I got referred from Ironhorse to go to Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital the next day. They took me right in and after Dr. Brady, Dr.Shapiro and Dr. E looked at her they recommended surgery ASAP because she ended up having a pyometra, which after asking what the heck that was and ... read more

We have a Bischon and have taken him to this group for 14 years. He is always treated like he is extra special. We most recently saw Dr. Scharg who explained to me in detail what will happen when my Bischon goes in for dental work and why it is important. This was very helpful to me and I really appreciated it. I feel confident that my pup is getting the best care available and happy that we found the right vet 14 years ago.

Last week I took my 2-year-old Ragdoll cat (Harry) in because he became seriously ill with gastroenteritis after escaping outdoors and eating a wild bird. He had a 104 temp, was not eating or opening his eyes and was simply miserable. They saw us immediately without an appointment. The front office staff were friendly and caring. The doctor, Dr. Shapiro, was incredible. We have been bringing our dog, named Red, to Pleasanton Vet Hospital for over 10 years. The entire staff is very caring and helpful. Beth and Danika, the Client Care Reps have always given us the best customer service. The care received at Pleasanton Vet Hospital helped us give Red a long and good life, even when he started to have health issues a few years ago. I have two dogs that I love very much. How my friends are treated and how much consideration is given to them is very important. I have been to Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital twice now. Both times, I and my little friends, received quick, personal and courteous attention. I am very pleased with the entire staff's attention and would recommend them.

We have a pocket pet - a hamster named Matt - who's my son's first "real" pet. Matt developed a growth on his front foot and after some Google'ing, we decided it was serious enough to find a vet. The staff at Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital is so sweet and caring. Matt obviously felt very comfortable with Dr. Godfrey, because he didn't bite her (and still hasn't, after 3 visits).
