Our family has been taking our pets here for many years, and we love the team here. In 2013 we lost our family dog and cat (both due to old age at different times) after wonderful care by Pleasanton Veterinary. They took such good care in keeping them healthy and living long lives, and when the time came, making them both comfortable as they reached their final days and weeks. When we had to take them in they took good care of us and our guys as we had to let them go. On a MUCH happier side of things, our animals from... read more
I came home one day and found that my two dogs could hardly move or get up, let alone walk. They are completely different, one a chocolate lab, the other a pit bull terrier, and both were eventually diagnosed with Cushing's Disease. I immediately called the following day and made an appointment for them. The vet is somewhat familiar with them now my dogs have been there a number of times for a number of different things. Dr. Atkins examined both and gave me prescriptions for both of them . I had to carry them out to my tr... read more
This is long overdue. I can't thank Danielle and Pleasanton Vet Hospital enough for their level of caring treatment of our whole family. We adopted our dog in June 2013 and he got very sick in October 2013. This is the first dog for our family and I had chosen this vet due to location. Choosing this vet was the very best decision!!! It turned out our dog Beethoven was incredibly sick and had to go to an emergency vet immediately for a blood transfusion and 1-2 night stay. I was a complete wreck, crying and could barel... read more
The best Veterinarians around. Been taking Truman (our rambunctious labradoodle) there since a pup and he is a healthy dog. He loves PVH. The staff is wonderful and accommodating to our schedule. Not to mention, they are knowledgeable too.
We've always taken our dogs to Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital and have always been happy with the level of care given. The staff are very kind and caring and you can tell that they just love where they work and the animals they serve. Special mention to Danielle, Beth and Dr Godfrey. Every visit they went above and beyond with our dog who had multiple health issues. They were so thoughtful and understanding. A remarkable group of animal lovers work here!
We have been going to the Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital for several years. We take both of our dogs there. We have worked with several of the doctors who work there and they are all very caring and compassionate. You can tell that they truly love all animals. The front staff is just as wonderful and very helpful. I have never had a problem getting an appointment for either pet because their office hours are great.
My first encounter with this clinic was under the worst conditions imaginable, my new puppy had died suddenly. I called to inquire about cremation services and the receptionist was extremely kind and patient as I asked questions while sobbing into the phone. We brought our sweet little puppy to the clinic and again were met with compassion and heartfelt sincerity by the same woman I spoke to on the phone. The death of our puppy was extremely sad and hard to endure and I'm grateful for this woman's demeanor. We intend to adop... read more
I love the Doctors and the staff, and they love my dogs. But every time I buy medication I have to negotiate a better price because it is sooo much cheaper elsewhere! I also feel the services have become much more expensive. I cringe when it comes time for the bill.
This is not just the best vet in Pleasanton...this is the best vet I've ever been to anywhere! I just moved to Pleasanton a few months ago and have been researching local vets for my Pug (Ziggy) and I can't describe how happy I am that I chose Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital. The office staff is extremely welcoming, helpful, friendly, and caring...and the fact that I got an appt. Dr. Godfrey (luck of the draw because I was a new patient and didn't know which vet to request) was icing on the cake! She is the best vet I have... read more
