LOST $140.38 on this product!!! DO NOT BUY FROM SELLER Unless you want to give them your money!!! This product didn’t work once I plugged it into the pool so I returned it. I paid $701.88 for it and they will only refund me $561.50!
Polaris = a product for those looking for excellent This Polaris Pool Sweep replaced the first model installed years ago. It had a working life of 45 years. Not many things these days still working after that much time. Difficulties with the back up pump connected me with the seller of the mew unit. Within minutes, the representative told me a replacement was on its way. Congratulations to the manufacturer for building quality and for the re-sellers who still understand the meaning of customer SERVICE.
What comes in the box? What comes in the box? There is no description as to whats come in the box. Like Cleaner, hose and fittings. Not even a picture. So much for this seller trying to sell this product.
Does not work well. Do not recommend Just does not work well. Had the 3900 for 10+ years and it worked great. Then read the reviews for the 380 and ordered that as a replacement. It constantly gets tangled up, the tail sprays out of the water and makes a mess on the windows near the pool. Will probably have to get something else, as this just does not clean the pool well at all.
Support from the Manufacturer is SUPERB Our Polaris 380 died after only 15 months. We replaced many parts to no avail. SquareTrade, the company we purchased a 3 year extended warranty from, refused to honor the warranty without a letter from the manufacturer Zodiac. Amazon helped to reach out to Zodiac to try and obtain that letter. Rather than do that, Zodiac REPLACED THE UNIT!

It’s great, when it works and with daily maintenance I have to untangle the precision-length hose daily for it to do its job. Other than that and the issues below, it actually keeps my pool reasonably clean. I owned this unit only a few months and have been through three inline filters, two sweeps, and now my second backup valve. This happened with the previous Polaris purchased,poor warranty protection Defects found after installed and it has not worked since!! Continue to find defects.
Waste of money! Worked for the first week, then the wheels stuck and it will not move. Money wasted.
