Stopped working after 3 weeks! I purchased the 380 (after having great success with the 280 for 10 years) in Oct 2016 after closing our pool. We installed the 380 when we opened our pool in April 2017 and it seemed to work fine. Within 1 month, it was sluggish, immobile and was ineffective in cleaning our pool. We had our Pool Maintenance guys take a look and they needed to replace something. It was a struggle the entire summer with "fixes" to get it to work. RIPPED OFF!! i started to notice this pool sweep not working so good. barely picked up leaves and spins in circles more then normal. so i decided to look inside to see if any tubes were disconnected, thinking that after only a year and a half that it must be something simple. when i got it apart i noticed that one of the connections had what appeared to be some sort of caulking all gobbed around it, i thought this was weird sense i bought this brand new and spent over $500 for it. what gives!!

Look for an alternative I purchased my SECOND Polaris only after 3 years of use. I purchased my current unit in 7/15 and since purchase I have had to replace the wheel bearings and the water distribution system. As of today 9/17, my unit is sitting inoperable in the bottom of my pool. The wheels are not turning. I don't know what manufacturer makes a good unit, but I would sure like to use someone other than Polaris. Save your money Not worth the money. Purchased it in early May and it worked fine out of the box. Less than three months later it doesn't work well at all. And now I am past my return window. Really disappointed in this product. We replaced a much older Polaris that was losing it's battle with age. But even that one worked better than this one!

Do Not Recommend. I do not recommend this pool cleaner at all, it did not last more than 1 year, the bearings had to be replace, the hose leaked all over and even the wheels got destroyed and needed to be replace for $400 dollars!!, make a better product.
