Nice product overall, but the cord tangles up too easily, and the phone app doesn't provide notifications or useful cleaning details, so I don't get alerted when the robot needs to be emptied, or other complications. The robot may have a high IQ, but the app has a very low IQ. It could provide many more features via the magic of thoughtful software.

I had an older model Polaris 9550 sport that I replaced with the alpha IQ+ and it’s got a lot more options and seems to be built nicer. I hope this model last longer than the last one.

I like the ease of installing and retrieving but it barely does the walls and only does flat surfaces. My platform and pool seat cannot be done. The filter spits out the fine dirt and it ends up on the stairs and platforms

If a robot product is no longer climbing well or doesn't seem to be ingesting large debris, the main culprit is usually a clogged debris canister. We recommend carefully rinsing the canister after every cycle and periodically using mild soap and a soft brush to dislodge any microscopic debris that may be impeding flow. Robot performs fairly well but misses areas in my lap pool. Business from which I purchased the robot in Escondido was great - provided excellent information and loaned robot for trial. I am very happy with them. The 2 factory-authorized dealers/service centers in Coachella Valley I rate very poorly. Neither loaned a robot despite your website saying that they would. They also did not return calls. They are very poor representatives for Polaris in my opinion and, but for the excellent service provided by the Escondido pool ... read more

This machine does an incredible job of cleaning our pool. It literally picks up debris that we cannot even see. The only disappointing thing for me would be that for our application we needed a finer debris basket (Which we didn't even realize was available when we purchased the unit), which is pretty costly IMO. We have a caged pool in Florida, so we deal more with silt/sand than with leaves and such.
