It didn’t last 6 weeks.
I have the following issues: - After less then 1 season of use the Quattro just spins in circles (one set wheels not moving), took it back to the store, the cleaned it up and it worked properly for another 2 weeks, never had that issue with the 360. - Was told that this was “normal”. - Debris that doesn’t make it into the “diaper” gets stuck in the “lid” between the pieces of plastic that makes up the “lid”. - Does not go up the walls as well as the 360. - Hard to tell when the “diaper” is full. - Not nearly as good for lar... read more
This cleaner does a remarkable job cleaning the pool! However, he is always getting stuck on the steps. He can’t climb, so he sits in a wheelie position, wheels turning for a long time. Hate the tires are wearing... We turned down the height of climbing also because he will wedge under the ladder. At least his wheels shut off when he’s in this position. There is no reverse mode. Just L n R Gets frustrating!!
Can’t believe I didn’t upgrade to this model earlier. Much better job cleaning. No tangled hose or tail spraying anymore.
The cleaner left too much debris on pool bottom. With goggles I watched it work and items in its path were stirred up by the scrubbers in front and not picked up at all. Returned and exchanged for the standard cleaner.
I purchased it late 2019 and have had nothing but problems with this thing. I had a 280 for almost 9 years that ran like a top so I was excited about this model. This has been in the shop more than in the water. First, the top pops off, then breaks, then the gears stripped, then the scrubbers stopped working. Also, I think it's built for natural "pond" style pools. Mine is squared off so it kept getting stuck in corners and getting stuck on jet returns. Ugh! I requested they add a valve return to pull it around when it got s... read more
After eight months of use the gears that engage the front spindles had worn to a point that there is significant play in the two rollers. So much so that I had to take it to the local pool supply house for service because the unit would lock up and not move until one of the wheels were jarred into turning again. They told me this is normal(?) and to return it to them if it continues to do this. It has stopped climbing the sides of the pool with the gusto it used to now and often gets hung up after turning around at the top o... read more
I am a Florida home owner and my experience with the product has not been a good one. We had to take it in for repairs, based on manufacturer's design, no less than 5 times in about 9 months. Each time we had to take it in, our pool was without a cleaning system for days (sometimes weeks), necessitating extra chemicals to balance the water. After many emails to the company to ask for either a replacement or a refund, we were initially offered a product several hundreds of dollars cheaper than the product we purchased. We... read more
I read good reviews but mine just keeps cleaning the walls and riding the edges. I think I'm going to back to a manual vacuum this season. These just are not worth the time/money. Its quicker to break out the hose and $20 vacuum head when you want to use the pool.
